1. Conclusion of Contract

2. Booking
The rental price must be paid in full online and can be settled using the available payment methods. The prices are the "online booking prices" shown on the Sport Adler website for the desired equipment or equipment category. By completing the booking, the customer confirms the accuracy of their personal data, which is used for the professional binding adjustment. The customer is not permitted to independently change the binding settings made by the rental company. The booking becomes valid for the customer upon online payment and receipt of the booking confirmation; for the rental shop upon receipt of the booking confirmation.

3. Cancellation Policy / Cancellation
A cancellation of the booking is only possible in the event of illness, accident, or other serious reasons. If the reason for cancellation is an illness or similar, this must be reported to Sport Adler in writing with a medical certificate. Sport Adler charges a cancellation fee of EURO 15 per person for the booking. The customer also has the option to withdraw from the rental agreement at a reduced cost by paying a remorse fee of an additional 5% of the rental price in the event of cancellation. In this case, no cancellation fee will be charged, but only the prepaid remorse fee will be forfeited. The difference between the amount already paid and the cancellation fee will be refunded to the customer.

However, the early return must be confirmed in writing to the head office by the respective retailer before the outstanding difference can be refunded. No rental price refund will be granted if the winter sports equipment is accepted late by the customer or cannot be accepted at all for any other reason. The same applies if the customer returns the ski and/or snowboard equipment to the rental company prematurely. Unfavorable weather or other hindrances that are not within the control of Sport Adler do not entitle the customer to cancel the booking. In the event of injury or illness of the customer during the rental period, the following rules apply upon presentation of a medical certificate:

a) A refund of the rental price is only possible if the rental equipment is returned to the rental company immediately after the injury or illness occurs.

b) If point a) is met, the overpaid rental fee will be refunded from the date of issue of the medical certificate to be presented. No refund is possible without a medical certificate.

c) As soon as Sport Adler is informed of an incident and points a) and b) are met, it will immediately transfer the already paid rental fee.

4. Collection and Return of Equipment
The customer must present an official photo ID (e.g., passport or driver's license) and their booking confirmation at the rental shop and agrees that a copy of this document will be made. The equipment can be collected from the respective rental shop from 4:00 p.m. on the day before the first rental day.

The ski and/or snowboard equipment must be returned on the last day of the agreed rental period before the shop closes. In the event of a longer use of the ski and/or snowboard equipment, the difference between the actually used rental period and the reserved or paid rental period will be calculated at the standard local rental conditions and is payable directly on site.

If the rented sports equipment is not returned on time without a valid reason, the customer must expect a theft report to be filed against them and a corresponding late fee to be collected. The rented sports equipment must be returned in a usable condition. The place of performance is the location of the rental shop where the sports equipment was rented. When renting outside of Austria, Austrian law is deemed to have been agreed.

5. Use
The customer is fully responsible for the rented sports equipment and must use it carefully in accordance with its function and operating conditions. If the sports equipment already has defects at the time of rental, the rental shop can - if it cannot fix the defect - exchange the sports equipment or withdraw from the contract. The transfer of the sports equipment to third parties is not permitted. The customer must ensure that the sports equipment is stored in such a way that confusion or theft is prevented. For this purpose, skis should be stored individually and separately from each other or in ski safes. During the night, the sports equipment should be stored in a locked ski room of the accommodation or in a locked vehicle. The rented equipment is not insured unless insurance is taken out. In the event of breakage or damage due to improper use or theft due to violation of the imposed storage obligations, the customer is liable for the repair costs or the current value.

6. Theft/Breakage
In the event of theft, breakage, or damage due to improper use, the customer is liable for the current value or the repair costs. In the event of theft, the customer must file a report with the competent security authority within 24 hours and report the theft demonstrably and immediately to the rental company.

7. Data Protection
Personal data that the customer provides on this website will be processed and used in compliance with the applicable national and European regulations (data protection) to process your inquiries or online reservations. The customer's data will be used for marketing purposes (newsletters, etc.) so that the customer can be informed about corresponding offers. Sport Adler maintains the confidentiality of your data in all cases and will not sell, rent, or make it available to third parties.

8. Jurisdiction
For all legal disputes in connection with or relating to online reservations via Sport Adler, Austrian law applies exclusively, and the national courts in Austria have exclusive jurisdiction. Any liability of Sport Adler beyond the reservation is excluded.
